Call of Duty, a first person shooter series well known by many gamers comes out around the same time every year in November. And each year, they usually have the same competitors. This year however, a new opponent has entered the arena as it’s competition: Star Wars: Battlefront 3. The first in the series debuted in 2004 to massive success only to fall silent as internal conflicts in Lucasarts delayed progress on sequels. Now, with the new Star Wars movie scheduled for release later this year and the Disney marketing machine in full gear, gamers are highly anticipating the release of the new Battlefront game developed by Dice, the same team behind the popular FPS series Battlefield. If the game quality of the graphics in the trailer is any indication of the quality of story and play experience, we have a feeling the force will be strong with this one.
Release is scheduled for November 17, 2015, on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
