As the end of October approaches the closer the primeror for bojack horseman gets. The fifth season ends with bojack going to rehab for his aggressive addiction of alcohol and drugs. Diana and Mister Peanut Butter divorced and he has remarried a new younger woman. With Princess Caroline adopting a baby and raising a child on her own and still running her own talent agency as a single mother. This season is sure to be an emotional roller coaster for any older fans of this might have faced addiction divorece or being a single parent. With the season premiere still ways away we are only left with predictions of what this Famous horse will have to face. All the information we have to go off of is the season finally and a trailer.
To start things off the main character Bojack is still in rehab and he is writing a letter to what might be his only real friend, Diane. He tells her what it’s like in rehab and what he has been doing. This could lead to this season being less focused on bojack and more on the cast of characters. Possible he could by the end of the season, he will be trying to rekindle friendships that others may still have for him. Bojack reveals that he is actually glad to go to rehab that he wants to change he doesn’t have to be miserable.
On the other side of this letter is diane who might not even be reading these letters she is facing her own challenges of now living on her own in a rundown apartment after a divorce with her ex husband mister peanut butter. Perhaps this season a romance between her and bojack could blossom since she has been the only one to ever actually help him and not enable his awful behavior. The trailer reveals the mister peanut butter is not as happy as he seems and might actual be battling depression from now marrying his fourth wife. Having three failed marriages is heartbreaking for anyone and would make you rethink yourself over and might discuss that maybe the problem isn’t you maybe the problem is that you’re not meant to be happy. This assumption is only made by one line in the trailer usually the happiest people are the saddest.
All while everyone faces different challenges princess Caroline is running her own business and raising a child. She learns that being woman who wants it all isn’t easy and she might have to chose the being the CEO of her dream company or to be the mother of the child she wanted for so long.
This season will be the really touchy subjects that some fans of the show are facing and hopefully convince them to reach out and not suffer in silence. This is still a comedy so there will be jokes along the way but the deeper message is still there.
