We know what you’re thinking. What’s a ‘#Dodsfall‘ and why should I care? In short, it’s a unique live action, fully immersive 1 hour adventure that involves monsters, puzzle rooms as well as a little laser tag. But that description just doesn’t do it justice. It’s a visceral, heart-pumping, cinematic, real life video game-inspired experience that is now happening in Nowata, Ok., every weekend in June. The event is put on by The Asylum and Bad Wolf Ops, so you can expect high standards when it comes to quality game play as well as incredibly detailed set design.
And you should go. Now.
Being huge haunted attraction fans, we played it opening weekend with some guests from our ticket giveaway contest. Everyone agreed that it was by far an incredible experience and worth the trip.
But would it work for you? Well, you’d have to ask yourself some questions like:
- Do I like being chased in the dark by mutants?
- Do I like shooting at them with guns?
- Do I like crawling through blood and guts?
- Do I have an aversion to tight spaces?
- Do I have a weak bladder, or weak stomach?
- Do I like having nightmares?
- Will my girlfriend/wife still love me when I shriek in terror like a giant baby?
We think you get the idea. And if you want to have one of the best haunt/puzzle/laser type experiences out there, it’s not down in Dallas, Vegas or Chicago. It’s right down the road in Nowata.
