So a few years back, I worked on a project called ‘The Dead Reich.’ After seeing this trailer, I now know that I should have worked a lot harder! World War II is the perfect backdrop for this kind of story, and I’m super interested in seeing their take on the origins of the zombie apocalypse in this war torn world. Thumbs up so far, the trailer does an excellent job of hitting all the right notes, and the R rating almost guarantees that they didn’t skimp on the gore. Hopefully the storytelling makes it all come together. Overlord is set to hit theaters November 9 in the US.
