Something is Killing the Children issue#2

Something is killing the children #2 follows the path laid out by it’s first issue. It continues to build the mystery of the monsters and the mysterious girl who we find out is a monster hunter and has been for a very long time. In the beginning of the issue were introduced to Tommy, a store manager and brother of one of the missing children. In this issue we do learn a little more about the characters, monsters and what’s killing the children but the more we learn the more questions there are left to be answered. At the beginning, during tommys issue we see one of the monsters standing over him, right in front of his face but he asks “is anyone there” so it’s safe to say that he isn’t able to see the monsters, and most people are also likely unable to see them. That brings up the question of why Jason was able to see them. It can be assumed that the yellow chip in the monster hunters head connected to her eyes is what gives her the ability to see them, but still why is jason able to see them? Like the first issue, this one ends on a cliffhanger, This isn’t necessarily a bad thing since they’re still at the very beginning, building the world, and doing that does keep the audience intrigued for the next issue. This story is definitely still keeping me intrigued and I can’t wait for more. Over all Something is Killing the Children is an enjoyable read and continues to keep you at the edge of your seat.
