With news about 13 Reasons Why star Katherine Langford joining the MCU in Avengers 4, new information arises regarding Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye.
A report from several months ago stated that Hawkeye would eventually be getting his own standalone film. However, MCU Cosmic has stated that a major adaptation has been made to that project.
While it’s not certain, the new project is said to possibly be changed to a series for Disney’s new streaming service. It’s also said that this series will “involve Clint Barton’s Hawkeye, but it will deal with him training a new younger archer.” Which to many Marvel fans excitement, likely means that Young Avenger Kate Bishop will appear into the MCU.
Fans speculate that we might see Kate Bishop before the Hawkeye series even releases, saying there’s a good chance that Katherine Langford will be playing as Bishop in Avengers 4, fighting alongside Hawkeye’s new alias, Ronin.
Avengers 4 is set to come out on May 3rd, 2019.
